Definition

Triangle = A polygon with three sides.  A triangle has three edges and three vertices.

Area of a triangle = is half of its base (b) times its height (h).  The height should be perpendicular to its base.

b  = base

h  = height

Example

How to find the area of a triangle.

Given base = 4 and height = 7, find the area of the triangle.
